Terms and Conditions:
- Rates are effective April 1, 2009 and are subject to change without notice.
- All reservations are confirmed with a rental deposit received 30 days prior to arrival or within 5 days of booking. Reservation fees are ½ of rental fees plus Security/Damage Deposit and Cleaning Fee.
- Remaining rental fees are due by arrival date.
- Payment by check, cash, money order or through Pay Pal. In the event of a large group with multiple families, settle up between yourselves and give us one check. No out of state checks.
- Cancellation policy: written cancellation received 30 days or more prior to arrival date, the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival date, deposits will be non-refundable. Major Holiday deposits are non-refundable.
- Minimum nights stay required. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of actual arrival and departure dates. Rates will not be adjusted for late arrivals or early departures by partial members of group.
- We do not charge different rates for each night if your headcount varies.
- We require a "refundable" security deposit. Terms listed below.
- Pets (dogs only) Read our pet rules below.
- Smoking not permitted in house - only on the decks. Ash containers provided. All smoking materials must be completely extinguished in the ash containers. No smoking materials may be thrown/placed on the ground.
Pet Policy
The property is pet friendly and is limited to two small or medium size dogs. We do have some rules for you to agree to and need to know what breed of dog/dogs will be visiting. Dogs must be current on vaccinations.
- Brush and bathe your dog before you come up. Bring a lint roller as you will be responsible for dogs hairs on furniture and bedding.
- Flea and Tick Protection. Use Advantage or similar product - This is "A MUST".
Note: Millions of pets travel each year along with the little critters, who get a free ride. You could leave home flea free, stop along the way to walk your dog and a flea from Indiana could jump on. By using Frontline or Advantage we are assured that you will arrive critter free and will go home the same way.
- Scoop Poop
- Do not leave unattended. If the whole family goes out so does the dog(s). The only exception is if you leave your dog in a crate.
- We require a $10 per night charge for each dog.
- Advance notice of dogs visiting is required. Cleaning and Security Deposit RequirementsThe $85 cleaning fee is non-refundable.A $200 refundable deposit is required. Your deposit check, given along with your reservation deposit, will be returned to you within one week (7 days) after departing providing you have adhered to our requirements.
- Wash (do a good job), dry and put away your dishes in the places you found them.
- Take your trash out. Trash bags are provided.
- Leave the cabin picked up and tidy. Neat like you found it.
- If something accidentally breaks, replace it.
- If something is damaged you agree to be responsible for the repair bill.
- Before you depart, triple check for all your personal items. We do return your belongings upon written request. It may take us quite some time to do this and we will charge a handling fee.
- Damaged or missing items will be charged against your security deposit.
Children
- Must be supervised at all times.
- May not be left alone in the house or on the property.
